Identification and management tips

  • Dyers woad has bright yellow flowers with four petals.
  • Leaves are bluish green with a prominent white mid rib.
  • One of the simplest and most effective method of control is hand pulling.
  • Plants must be bagged if no flowers are present and seedpods have formed.
